Philosophy

Most of my research is on consciousness (call it what you will: experience, phenomenal consciousness, qualia, etc.). I am especially interested in applying the tools of psychology to traditional questions in philosophy; I suppose that makes me an experimental philosopher.

My dissertation lies at the intersection of consciousness and aesthetics, using quantitive measures of experience.
